Whenever you use an explosive ability or item, that being any ability or item that makes a primarily damaging spherical radius around it that requires a Dexterity save to avoid all or some of the effects of, you can choose to have its area be doubled, affected creatures be given disadvantage on their Dexterity save against it, and objects be affected by it.
