Prerequisite: Strength 13 or higher.
You’ve developed the skills necessary to hold your own in close-quarters grappling. You gain the following benefits:
- You have advantage on attack rolls against a creature you are grappling.
- You can use your action to try to pin a creature grappled by you. To do so, make another grapple check. If you succeed, the creature is restrained until the grapple ends.
- While you have a creature Pinned, as a bonus action, force the creature to makes a Strength Save vs your DC (8 + proficiency modifier + Strength Modifier), on a failure, the creature drops any weapon(s) it is holding.
Changes made:
- Removed the part where the controller of the grapple is "Restrained" while successfully pinning a creature.
- Added the 3rd bullet. It does not force the creature to drops shields, since it takes a full action to don/doff a shield, or GM discretion.
