After reaching Level 3, PC's free trial of life runs out upon dying, and they must pay to continue. This payment comes from getting shifted to another dimension/planet/timeline, getting great power, and do something the GM wants that is self-actualizing / character-assassinating in nature, with Player's consent and input where possible. <Scenario> can be of any variation, but must end with unfortunately murderous Disaster/Apocalypse/Betrayal as payment for entry into <Star Stream> system.
Disaster/Apocalypse/Betrayal <Scenario> has a 1d8 turn Conditional Penalty of arbitrary value. Accomplishing 1d6 Arbitrary Interactions within the 1d8 turns grants Inspiration and an Isekai Protagonist Boon to PC in <Scenario>. Failure to do so within the 1d8 turns earns PC either an out <i.E. Deus ex Machina>, a Death Save risking 1 Level of Exhaustion, and Unfair Pain. Be cruel early GMs.
Upon surviving / suffering through the <Scenario> (it needs to be extreme to justify what comes next): PC returns to the regular game and gains either an Evolving Feat or Boon related to their <Scenario> achievements <by any alignment/fun standards>.
Evolving Feat or Boon can seize PC as a story tool for GM at a price determined by Players for the sake of the flow of the Session. This Homebrew content has constraints related to Proficiency, WIS, referenced content, PC choices in painful situations, and shiggles.
