Prerequisite: Illusionist
Your mastery of illusion magic has reached a new level of power. Whenever you cast an illusion spell, you gain the following benefits:
- Pseudo-reality. You have learned to bolster your illusions such that creatures capable of seeing or detecting illusions fail to do so for any illusion spells you cast, as in the process of casting an illusion spell, you imbue the images and projections with a small portion of shadow magic. This isn't enough to make the illusions tangible, and physical interaction with them can still allow a creature to discern the image as an illusion, although they still would not be able to see through them. In addition, creatures have disadvantage on ability checks and saving throws made to discern the nature of your illusions.
- Enhanced Manipulation. You have learned how to expertly manipulate the weave for your illusion magic. Any illusion spells you cast that have a duration of 1 minute or longer have their duration doubled. In addition, any illusion spells you cast that affect an area, have a dimension of that area of your choice grow by 10 feet. For example, you may increase the area of the Major Image spell from a 20 foot cube to a 30 foot cube, or you may extend the rage of Prismatic Spray from a 60 foot cone to a 70 foot cone.
