Prerequisite: Pact of The Blade

Wielding the Hex Blades is no easy feat. Your training and continued devotion to your blades has allowed you to improve your fighting style and master dual wielding and improve your spellcasting. You have also learned how to extend the strength of your pact with The Hexblade to both weapons in order to best make use of your abilities. This feat has three parts:

Dual Wielder

You master fighting with two weapons, gaining the following benefits:

  • You gain a +1 bonus to AC while you are wielding a separate melee weapon in each hand.
  • You can use two-weapon fighting even when the one handed melee weapons you are wielding aren’t light.
  • You can draw or stow two one-handed weapons when you would normally be able to draw or stow only one.

Improved Blade Pact

Instead of summoning a single weapon, your Pact Blade feature can now summon two weapons, one in each hand, allowing you to dual wield your pact blade. The rules for these pact blades remain the same as described in the Warlock's Pact of the Blade feature. Any feature or effect that applies your Pact Blade applies to both weapons.

Additionally you can now transform up to two magical weapons into your Pact Blades. Each weapon requires its own ritual to perform. Each weapon takes the place of one of your Pact Blades separately, their properties cannot be combined. Both weapons will be stored in the same extra-dimensional space when you dismiss them.

You can still choose to summon only a single Pact Blade. If your Pact Blades are magic weapons, you must pick which weapon you will summon.

Split Focus

When you cast a spell that requires concentration, and you are already concentrating on a spell you can choose to attempt to maintain concentration on both spells. You must immediately make a concentration check of DC 10. If you fail you lose concentration on both spells. If you succeed you can maintain both spells, but You suffer a -3 penalty to all concentration checks. When you are forced to make a concentration check, you must make a check for each spell you are concentrating on. During your turn you must spend your action maintaining both spells. If you fail a concentration check you drop both spells and suffer a point of exhaustion. You can, as a free action drop one spell you are concentrating to not incur these penalties.
