All Or Nothing Image
Prerequisite: Requires a Strength score of 18 or higher.
 

"Abandon all restraint and put your very life into your attacks!"

Once per long rest, at the start of your turn in combat, you may choose to activate "All or Nothing". While "All or Nothing" is active you receive a +2 bonus to hit with all melee weapon attacks. Any attacks made with a melee weapon (including unarmed strikes) damage dice are rolled as usual but the damage total is always maximized. The difference between the dice rolled and the damage done is then in addition done to the player and cannot be prevented. "All or Nothing" affects all melee weapon attacks made by the player during the round of combat the ability is used including opportunity attacks made by the player. The effects of "All or Nothing" end at the beginning of your next turn.

Example:

- The player activates "All or Nothing" receiving a +2 bonus to hit on their melee attack rolls.

- They hit the target and then roll a longsword attack for 1d8 + 3 (str mod) dmg.

- The player rolls a 1 on the 1d8, making the regular weapon damage from the attack a total of 4.

- The player instead does the maximum 11 damage to the target and also does 7 damage to themself.
