Prerequisite: Requires a Constitution score of 13 or higher.
Your magic is no longer limited by your spell slots for the day, now you can sacrifice some of your life to cast spells!
The amount of damage you take for each spell relies on what spell level you're casting for. For example, if you're expending a third level slot you don't have, you take 3d6 damage (assuming you're a wizard). Use whatever hit die you have for your class (wizard/sorcerer take d6 damage, warlocks take d8 damage, etc.)
