Prerequisite: Intelligence 14 or higher.

You are a master of advance preparation. Some would call you a pack-rat, but your allies prefer to consider it an uncanny sense of anticipation and preparation.

Once per long rest, you may search your person for a common or uncommon item that you tucked away for a situation just like this. You must name the item that you are searching for, and explain why you would have that item on your person. Roll an intelligence check. This intelligence check is considered to have occurred in the past, and is not modified by any temporary status effects, whether harmful or beneficial.

For a common item (value under 50g), you find that item on your person on a roll of 12 or higher.

For an uncommon item (value under 300g), you find that consumable item on your person on a roll of 20 or higher.

At the DM's discretion, the roll may be made with advantage for an item that you can readily foresee you might need (such as a health potion) or at disadvantage for an extremely exotic item (such as a rare herb you just learned about earlier that day.) If you succeed on a natural 15 or above, the item simply appears on your person. If you succeed with a natural 14 or below, you are presumed to have purchased the item in the past, and must lose the reasonable gold value of that item in order to discover it with this feat.

This feat cannot be used to discover an item worth 500g or more.
