Charm - The Codex of Magical Apparatus

You have been granted (limited) knowledge of an infinite amount of magical items. Over the course of 10 minutes, you may search this repository for knowledge of a specific magic item. Roll an Arcana check doubling your proficiency bonus (if it was +0 previously due to lack of proficiency, add your proficiency bonus instead). The DM will give a truthful answer regarding the item based on this check, contesting it against a DC. The amount of lore given may be mysterious facts, as similar to the Legend Lore spell, its possible location or where to find more information, or a complete understanding of all its capabilities.

The DC for the check is determined by the DM based on a variety of factors including rarity, past history, the age of the item, and how much is already known by the NPCs or user. Remember, the answer MUST be truthful and helpful, if even in a small way, as this is intended as a magical boon.
