You have struck a deal with Alaster head of The Wandering Emporium or "The Emporium Master". Alaster is known in The Nine Hells for his underhanded deals even among the rulers of them. Alaster Grants power or favors to those who he strikes deals with, however what he wants in return is rarely clear and indirect, typically what he wants traps those into a binding contract (much like a warlock patron). Although Alaster keeps his word on the conditions his deals intel, he secretly (but not really) wishes for those he makes deals with to fail so he can trap them, and make them work for him for all of eternity.
Upon making a deal you gain the following:
Increase an ability score by 1.
If you were to make a persuasion/deception check against a resident of The Nine Hells you do so at advantage. If this is attempted towards Alaster nothing happens.
You gain the shield spell and may use it as many times equal to your charisma modifier which resets at dawn. (min 1 use) .
You have made a deal with Alaster what he wants in unclear, however what he says in engraved into your mind. A successful insight check (DC 20) will Decipher what his twisted words mean (However it is encouraged that the player figures it out on their own, at which point the DM will tell them if it is correct). The player may attempt this insight check once per day.
Alaster knows your location, and may scry on you as he pleases. Alaster at anytime may choose to insight you on whether you plan on keeping your end of the deal (making an insight check against your deception if you plan on double crossing him). If it is found that you plan to double cross him, the next time you meet him he will remind you that your deal is a binding contract, and further disregard for this will cost the player their lives. If further deception is found may result in losing this feat or a punishment that is up to the DMs digression.
