Frost Attunement

Borne of frost, you are attuned to lower temperatures and your body winter itself. Due to your disposition you gain the following -

• You have advantage when casting spells which deal cold damage;
• You gain resistance to cold damage;

However such talents can be detrimental in certain ways, as in surprising or life-threatening situations your power may go out of control. In such situations you must roll 1d8 to see the effects.

• any even number rolled is safe and you can keep most of your power internalised, however you must cast a spell that deals cold damage (this counts as a opportunity attack);
• if you roll 1 or 5, you fail to control your magic and are forced to externalise it to prevent inner harm dealing 1d4 of cold damage to (excluding yourself) all creatures in a 5ft sphere.
• if you roll a 3 or 7, you completely fail to gain any semblance of control and your power falls into discord, violent winds of frost whip out dealing 2d4 of cold damage to (including yourself)all creatures in a 10ft sphere around you.
