Blind Sight Image
Prerequisite: Permanent blindness

You are blind, but your other senses have compensated to be able to supplement your lost sight.  You gain the following benefits:

  • Increase your Wisdom score by 1 to a maximum of 20.
  • You can't see, and automatically fail any ability check that requires sight.
  • If you are deafened, creatures automatically critically hit you and you automatically fail attack rolls.
  • You have a heightened sense of hearing. You can clearly hear everything within 120 feet of you, and can triangulate the location of anything that emits or echoes a sound within that range. You can hear most sounds within 240 feet of you, and have advantage on any Wisdom (Perception) checks that requires hearing within range. You can make out sounds within 600 feet of you if you listen for them.
  • You also have heightened senses of touch, smell, and taste. You have advantage on skill checks that require touch, smell, and taste. You can get a general sense of direction of where things are within 60 feet on any Wisdom (Perception) check requiring smell. If you are deafened, you are only aware of things you can touch, smell, and taste.
  • You have a +5 bonus to your passive Wisdom (Perception) checks when relying on touch, hearing, and smell.
