You learn to mould and instruct forming magic to strengthen your spells.
- When about to cast a spell that can be upcast you can, as a bonus action, choose to continue to cast the spell for an additional turn to increase the spell’s power as if upcasting it by one level. Alternatively, if the spell has an area of effect, for each round you may extend the area in question by 10 feet. If the spell has a duration longer than a round the extended area is only present on the round it is first cast, before shrinking as the caster wishes to the normal area. You may continue to charge to upcast or extend an additional level a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, so long as you possess a spell slot of the level you are attempting to up-cast to.
- All spells cast using the above effects acquire a verbal component if they do not already have one.
