Defensive Arcanist

You have studied the arts of wards and defensive spellcasting extensively. You gain the following benefits:

• Increase your Dexterity score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
• Gain the ability to cast Mage Armor without the need for components. Once cast, you cannot cast it again in this way until you complete a long rest.
• Gain the ability to cast Shield without the need for components. Once cast, you cannot cast it again in this way until you complete a long rest.
