With this feat the user can gain information about beings, places or things. The character must touch the target. They can cast Identify a number of times equal to their proficiency bonus per short rest, and cast Legend Lore once per long rest.
The special effects of this are different depending on the ascendant Arcestra of the user.
Green: It's literally scanning it against the Tetra's databases to give info. It’s fairly safe, but if the data isn’t out there and this is new, you get nada. You are also officially snapshotting it directly into the imperial database to be compared, so it’s always “on the record”.
Red: It's using essence residua to read the information, you are pulling the residue into you. This sounds moderately dangerous, it should be more effective also. This should grant the best understanding of CONTEXT, poor for intent.
Blue: It's using personal essence to read the information, you are sticking you into the object. This also sounds dangerous, it should be more effective also. This should grant the best understanding of INTENT, poor for context.
White: You are checking the object's position in the general cosmic order to get the information.
Black: You are destroying a bit of the object to gain information from the essence released. If you cannot break a crumb off the object without ruining it completely (like most magic items) you can’t use this form of delving without breaking something. In most circumstances that doesn’t matter. On the upside, for this form only, you don’t need to touch the object.
