Versatile Weapon Fighting Style:
When you are wielding a versatile weapon with 2 hands, you gain a +1 to AC. When you roll a 1 on a damage die for an attack, you can reroll the die and must use the new roll, even if the new roll is a 1. When you are wielding a versatile weapon with 1 hand and no other weapon in your off-hand, you gain a +1 to attack rolls with the versatile weapon.
Versatile Weapon Master:
- You may don and off a shield as a bonus action.
- While wielding a versatile weapon, when a creature within 5 feet makes a melee weapon attack against you, you can force the creature to re-roll the attack, If the new attack roll misses, you can use your reaction to make one attack against the creature.
- When rolling for damage with a versatile weapon, roll the damage die twice and take the highest result.
Versatile Weapon Fighting (Variant):
Your ability to wield versatile weapons is a fusion of art and combat. When wielding a versatile weapon, your use of the weapon becomes so fluid you no longer conceptualize its use as 1-handed or 2-handed, but as an extension of your body. This fighting style enables you to make either a Power Attack or Precision Strike, each blow with their benefits. Wielding another weapon or a shield in your off-hand causes the loss of these effects.
When you wield a versatile weapon and no other weapons or shield in your off-hand, you gain the following attack options with the versatile weapon:
- Power Attack: Your damage die becomes 1d10. When you roll a 1 on a damage die for an attack, and you can reroll the die and must use the new roll, even if the new roll is a 1.
- Precision Strike: Your damage die becomes 1d8. You gain +1 to attack rolls with this attack.
Versatile Weapon Master (Variant):
- Your grasp of versatile weapons is near perfection, causing all of your blows to have both precision and power. Your Power Attack and Precision Strike are now combined into 1 attack and you gain the following benefits:
Masterful Blow: Your damage die is 1d10. When you roll a 1 on a damage die for an attack, you can reroll the die and must use the new roll, even if the new roll is a 1. You gain +1 to attack rolls with this attack. - While wielding a versatile weapon, when a creature within 5 feet makes a melee weapon attack against you, you can force the creature to re-roll the attack, If the new attack roll misses, you can use your reaction to make one attack against the creature.
