You are a worshipper of Nerull, Bringer of Darkness, The Foe of All Good, known colloquially as the Reaper.
As one of his disciples, Nerull has granted you some of his blessings. By taking the lives of innocents, you gain favor with the Reaper. Whenever you desire, you may attempt to use your favor to invoke your god's dark powers. Beware, however: the King of All Gloom rarely looks kindly upon requests made by those who do not honor him. Should your standing with Nerull be insufficient, or if your actions have earned his ire, you may find his answer to be... unpleasant.
Upon obtaining this feat, you gain access to several new Rites. These Rites, acting similarly to spells, require varying casting times and materials. However, unlike spells, they are entirely unaffected by opposing forces, such as anti-magic fields or counterspells.
With the exception of the Rite of Communion, you must possess sufficient favor with Nerull in order to make use of these Rites. Favor is obtained by killing innocent creatures (non-hostile, villagers, fellow adventurers, ect.) and dedicating their deaths to Nerull.
Note: You may still attempt to perform a Rite without sufficient favor, but doing so might have dire consequences.
