Beginning at first level, and with your dms permission, when you take on this feat you gain certain advantages and disadvantages. 

Advantages: 

• Advantage on insight checks. 
• Advantage on perception checks in small towns/cities, outdoors.

Disadvantages: 

• disadvantage on sound based perception in larger towns/cities
• When in combat, if you have more than one attack on your turn, your first attack will be at disadvantage IF a loud noise is performed before your turn. EX: Thunderclap
• Disadvantage against intimidation saving rolls. EX: if a beast roars, a warrior bangs their sword against their shield
