you gain proficiency in animal handling
you may make a DC(10 + that animals intelligence) animal handling check on any beast you meet with challenge rating 1/4th or lower, if you succeed that animal becomes your companion will follow you commands to the best of its ability without you having to make any check. you may only have one animal as your companion at a time.
when you reach level 4 you may use this feature on beasts with challenge rating 1/2 or lower.
when you reach 8th level you can use this feature on beasts with challenge rating 1/2 or lower. you may also have 2 companions at a time so long as their challenge ratings do not add up to more that 1.
when you reach 12th level you can use this feature on beasts with challenge rating 1 or lower. you may also have 2 companions at a time so long as their challenge ratings do not add up to more that 2.
when you reach 16th level you can use this feature on beasts with challenge rating 2 or lower. you may also have up to 3 companions at a time so long as their challenge ratings do not add up to more that 3.
when you reach 20th level you can use this feature on beasts with challenge rating 2 or lower. you may also have up to 5 companions at a time so long as their challenge ratings do not add up to more that 5.
