It is in your blood to combat the cognitive parasitism of the illithid and their minions.  You gain the following benefits:

• Your Strength, Intelligence, or Wisdom score increases by 1, up to maximum of 20.
• You have resistance to psychic damage.
• Your thoughts cannot be read by telepathy or other means unless you allow it.
• You always know when you are targeted by a divination spell.  If that divination spell requires a saving throw, you can use your reaction to gain advantage in this way a number of times equal to your Intelligence modifier, and regain all expended uses after completing a long rest.
