An Eye of Foresight allows one to see into the future, seeing possible outcomes. However, it's difficult to control "focus point", which in this case means how far into the future one wants to see. The further one tries to see, the more outcomes are shown to them, but these outcomes become blurred together.
Specifically, it gives these abilities by granting the user access to the cantrip "Foresight."
Details from spell page:
Foresight is a cantrip originating from an Eye of Foresight.
It allows one to see into the future, seeing possible outcomes. However, it's difficult to control how far into the future one wants to see. The further one tries to see, the more outcomes are shown to them, but these outcomes become blurred together.
The user may know their enemies actions in future turns by picking a target, and doing a 1d roll to see how many turn the use may see into the future. The DM will then inform the caster of the target's future actions.
Every turn after 2 becomes harder to see, and may change from its original telling(at the DM's behest). Every turn after 4 is uncertain, and has more than one option.
Unless the user has dark vision, darkness will nullify the eyes of foresight.
After 3rd Level:
Now an experienced user, you can see the future of up to 3 targets, but each extra target cost 2 turns from the overall prediction.
Examples:
1 target: max of 6 turns.
2 targets: max of 3 turns each.
3 targets: max of 2 turns each.
