Prerequisite: 8th level The ability to cast using spell or pact slots Extra Attack
You can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn. Moreover, you can cast one of your cantrips in place of one of those attacks.
If you gain the Extra Attack feature from more than one source, the features do not stack with each other. You can't make more than two attacks with this feature. Similarly, Thirsting Blade doesn't give you additional attacks if you also have Extra Attack.
(Creator's Note: This is NOT a class feature, nor is this meant to replicate one! This is a feat meant to give characters who do not naturally have access to a second attack, access to a second attack!)

Posted Jul 6, 2022It kind of does replicate a (sub-class) Feature, though. The 6th level Bladesinger version of "Extra Attack" essentially does the same exact thing. (Which is not a complaint nor criticism)
Also: Due to the way you worded the pre-requisites (which includes Extra Attack), it doesn't grant them a second attack, as your closing remark implies. To get this ability, they have to already have Extra Attack. What it's really granting is: if you're 8th level or higher, have spell slots, and have Extra Attack, then when you take the Attack action, you can substitute one attack per round to cast a cantrip.

Posted Jul 9, 2022That is very valid! The addendum at the end is moreso to keep this feat active on the site due to the wording causing it to get taken down. I will definitely clear up the wording though, as at the time I'd simply lifted this from the normal "Extra Attack" feat I made in order to make the cantrip attacks more accessible (since I believe characters such as valor bards or battlesmith artificers should be updated to be up to par with attacking subclasses)
