- You can create Batarang by spending 50gp. Creation takes 2hours and it requires DC 10 Intelligence (Thieves' Tools) check.
- You can upgrade your Batarang by spending another 10gp. Upgrading existing Batarang requires DC 14 Intelligence (Thieves' Tools) check. You can have up to 5 different special batarangs and that includes:
- Blinding Batarang that blinds creature on hit,
- Exploding Batarang that deals splashing fire damage,
- Smoke Batarang that creates heavily obscured area,
- Shocking Batarang that shocks creature and deals damage on hit,
- Restraining Batarang that restrains a creature on hit.
