Chef (Authentic Kourisian Cooking) Image

 An important part of being a member of the Kouris Herd is also being skilled in the culinary arts.

After all, there's only so many ways you can eat a dry carrot before something must be done and it is with great pride that the Kouris Herd claims to be the best minotaur chefs of the great plains.

  • Increase your Constitution by 1 to a maximum of 20.
  • You gain proficiency with cook’s utensils if you don’t already have it or expertise if you do.
  • Each Set of ingredients costs 75gp and you can carry as many sets as your CON modifier + your Proficiency bonus.

  • Delicious Treats - As part of short rest, you can cook treats, provided you use 1 set of ingredients and have cook’s utensils on hand.
  • You can prepare enough treats for a number of creatures equal to your proficiency bonus (Minimum of 1).
  • At the end of the short rest each creature that consumes the treat gains temporary hit points equal to your CON modifier + your Proficiency bonus.
  • A creature cannot benefit from this treat again until it takes a long rest or has lost the all the temporary hit points gained from this feature.

  • A Hearty Meal - For one hour of work as you finish a long rest, you can cook a large meal, using 1 set of ingredients as a base and have cook’s utensils on hand.
  • You can prepare a meal large enough to feed a number of creatures equal to your proficiency bonus (Minimum of 1).
  • At the end of the long rest each creature that consumes the meal gains 1d4/1d8* + your CON modifier + your Proficiency bonus. *Changes to 1d8 at level 14.
  • While Cooking you can choose to infuse the treats with additional ingredients to end one of the following conditions listed below.
  • Meal Infusions - As part of cooking A Hearty Meal you can choose any one of the following conditions to cure with the meal. A creature can use it's action to eat the meal; you can also use your action to feed the meal to a willing or incapacitated creature.
  • - Blinded (Requires 1 additional set of ingredients)
    - Deafened (Requires 1 additional set of ingredients)
    - Poisoned (Requires 2 additional sets of ingredients)
    - Paralyzed (Requires 2 additional sets of ingredients)
    - Unconscious (Requires 5 additional sets of ingredients)
