If you target an individual with whom your plane and theirs have only recently connected (1 years time upon your plan), a DM may choose for this effect to automatically fail.

Notes: An individual identified by this effect does not need to be a non-player character, or a character who has been previously encountered during play. In the event the character identified is a character known outside of game play a history roll may be done to recall more information.
