Ki Dash

Especially skilled monks are able to briefly transform their whole body into a bright flash of ki energy and dash from location to location faster than most eyes can see.

Instead of moving normally a monk may use 1 ki point to move from one location to another within 20 feet as a form of teleportation. This movement may be in any direction and does not trigger oppertunity attacks. They may not move directly through solid objects such as ceilings, walls or pillars but are able to bypass any enemies or allies as needed without impeding their movement.

The monk may spend additional Ki to move further- each additional Ki point spent allows up to 20 feet of movement. These individual increments may be spread among the players turn but (for example a 2 ki points to move to attack an opponent and a 3rd to move away after the attack) in the same way as breaking up regular movement, however unused movement from each use is lost when the monk 'lands'. For example, using if they use 2 ki to move but only use 30 feet instead if the full 40, they lose the remaining 10 feet, if they subsequently spend another ki to move after attacking.
