Prerequisite: You must be proficient with long or short bow. This feat does not provide proficiency.
Thanks to extensive practice with the Longbow/Shortbow, you gain the following benefits:
- Being within 5 feet of a hostile creature doesn’t impose disadvantage on your ranged attack rolls.
- When you use the Attack action and attack with the bow, you can use a bonus action to attack with a bow you are holding
- You have improved critical strike with this weapon, critical is increased by 1
- You gain a +1 bonus to attack rolls

Posted Feb 22, 2021Overall I like. I feel 5e swings too hard in making Crossbows better for archery characters.
A few minor suggestions:
Reword critical strike, so its on a 19-20 rather than "crit increases by 1" this is more in line with existing things like the Champion's Improved Critical, and also keeps them from stacking and being ridiculous.
Given that archery style gives you a +2 to hit, I'd make this a +1 or +2 to damage instead, rather than the +1 to hit.
