Blessed Opportunity

When a character who is friendly to you moves out of your melee range, rather than an attack of opportunity you may call upon the blessings of your deity to aid that ally. As a reaction, you can expend a first level spell slot to heal them for 1d4 hit points, grant them 1d6 temporary hit points, or give them a 1d4 bonus to their next attack roll, ability check, or saving throw.
