“The space between the neck and shoulder, under the armpit, behind the knee, between the leg and groin, the inside of the elbow: this is where you strike for maximum damage. Open them up like a can of sardines.”
Your experience on the field of battle has given you a level of expertise fighting armored enemies. Through trial, error, and sometimes dumb luck, you have learned the weak points in an enemy’s defenses. This feat grants you the following benefits:
1. Your Strength or Dexterity ability score is increased by +1.
2. When you roll a d20 for a weapon attack, if the roll exceeds the target's AC by 5 or more, you get to roll another damage die for your weapon. Add this to the damage of your weapon strike(s).
3. Your eye for existing chinks in the enemy’s armor has allowed you to create a breach your own. When a person using this feat lands a critical attack on an enemy, the attack lowers the enemy’s AC by 1. The maximum amount of reduced AC from these breach strikes is the enemy's DEX modifier.
Note: the benefits of this feat only apply to enemies wearing actual armor. Enemies/creatures with natural armor are not affected.
