A grand destiny lies ahead of you. Whatever it is may not be clear, but you know it has to do with the magic of ancient dragons. Their whispers creep into your dreams, guide your waking hands, and even grant you some of their power.
When choosing this feat, also select one type of dragon with which your character is aligned. This dragon type features prominently in the characters dreams and determines additional powers (see below).
Shroud of Destiny: You are incredibly hard to kill. When talking death saves, only a natural 1 counts as a failure. Whenever you successfully pass 3 death saves, your regain consciousness with 5 hit points.
Dragon's Guidance: The dragons whisper to you, and occasionally guide your hand or otherwise aid you in a task with ancient wisdom . Once per day you may roll a D6 and add it to the result of any ability check. You may choose to apply this bonus after you have rolled the ability check.
Elemental Might: In your dreams you see one type of dragon most of all, and it's energy flows through you. Whatever damage type is associated with your chosen dragon can be summoned to enhance your physical attacks or actions. You may add 1D6 damage of the appropriate type to any unarmed, melee or ranged weapon attack, or apply the damage directly to inanimate objects you can touch. This ability can be used a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and then cannot be used again until you take a long rest.
Note: This feat is intended for a 'dragon riders' campaign where all PCs have access to this feat, and is not balanced against other feats.
