Through rigorous training you have learned to use the power of the Tempest to absorb, amplify, and redirect any lightning that targets you.

When targeted by a spell, attack, or other effect that would cause you to take lightning damage, you may instead use a reaction to absorb and redirect the lightning amplifying it in the process.

Lightning that has been redirected in this way is considered nonmagical and is redirected into a 5ft wide 100ft long line dealing damage equal to double the amount of the original spell, attack, or effect.

You may do this a number of times per day equal to half your character level (rounded down).
