Your devotion to the light and the preservation of the world and it's people has blessed you as one of its chosen. You have seen countless battles and fought many foes while trying to protect those that need it most, sometimes even when the odds have been stacked against you. The world's light has blessed you with powers of the Val'kyr:
- Beautiful, white feathered wings burst forth from your form, granting you a flying speed of 30 feet. When you use these wings to fly out of combat, any opportunity attacks made against you have disadvantage if you are moving to an ally, otherwise the enemy gets advantage.
- Any spell that heals hit points that you cast, now grants additional temporary hit points equal to your character level to help sustain your comrades for the trials ahead, spells that heal multiple times only grant the temporary hit points once, but do stack if the healing occurs on separate turns from the same spell.
- Additionally while you are standing near an ally within 5 feet of you and you are wielding a shield, you can use your bonus action to shield them with your shield instead of yourself, granting them half cover if it is a regular shield or three quarters if it is a tower shield, you however, forgo your bonus to AC from the shield but still retain any other benefit from the shield. This effect end if either of you are further than 5 feet from one another.
