Your friendship with the beasts of the earth transcends the bounds of reality. You gain the following benefits:

• You learn the find familiar spell, and can cast it once without expending a spell slot. After casting the spell in this way, you cannot do so again until you complete a long rest.
• As an action, you can form a supernatural bond with a single willing beast or monstrosity of Challenge Rating 1 or less and of size Small or smaller. This creature becomes your familiar, as per the find familiar spell. When casting the find familiar spell, you add your bonded creature to the list of options provided by the spell, and any creature you summon this way has the personality and memories of your bonded creature. You can be bonded to only one such creature at once. You can use an action to release your bond while a bonded creature is summoned. After doing so, the creature is no longer your familiar.

You can take this feat more than once. For each additional time you take this feat, you can bond to one additional creature, though you can still have only one familiar summoned at once. Any extras are immediately transported to the familiar's pocket dimension.
