he who cheated death

you have cheated death himself, one way or another. you haven't just survived a near-death experience, but you have survived something that you weren’t meant to survive. a death that was supposed to be set in stone. you somehow, someway either on purpose or by mistake avoided a death that was supposed to never have been capable of avoiding. you defied destiny, you defied death and now he wants you to pay the price of defying him.

death will not go out of his way to hunt you down, but he will bend the rules in his favor, and you know that. you know that every time you fail, death will use it as an opportunity to make you pay, to kill you. unlike everyone else, your chance of surviving is much, much lower. so you much survive, you will survive.

Effects:

• you have disadvantage on death saving throws
• you have advantage on all saving throws

possible effect:

if you avoid death too many times, he might change the rules even more. you can not escape him, one can not outrun death. No one can outrun death. It will catch up to all of us eventually.

• when you get down to 0 hp more than 5 times, this feat will evolve into “He who defied death”.
