Prerequisite: Requires a Wisdom score of 13 of higher

Whether having lacked sight from birth or losing your sight in an accident, you have spent years training until you have developed your own sense of 'sight' through the enhancement of your other senses. Yet while you may have gained several advantages, you still suffer from a lack of traditional sight, meaning you continue to suffer from numerous troubles when operating on your own both within and without society.

  • You are immune to the blinded condition
  • You have advantage on ability checks based on hearing
  • You have Blindsight with a range of 10 feet
  • You have Tremorsense with a range of 30 feet
  • You had disadvantage on any ranged attacks made beyond the range of your Blindsight
  • You are incapable of reading unless the test has notable texture (eg; Braille or Engraved/Embossed) and you are capable of touching it
  • You automatically fail any Wisdom (Perception) checks based on sight
  • Spells that require you to select a target you can see will automatically fail

The DM may also require you to make dexterity checks when navigating the world due to obstacles that may not be as obvious to your enhanced sense of awareness; such as still objects or subtle dips/raises in the terrain

Remember, this feat is a flaw and it is best to consult your DM before taking this feat for your character.
