You can choose to lose any amount of hit point maximum to gain a bonus on the attack roll, saving throw, ability check or the DC of your saving throw that is equals to the number of hit point lost divided by 4 (rounded down) or 6 if you are higher than 5th lv, 8 if you are higher than 11th lv or 10 if you are higher than 17th lv. You also lose any amount of hit point that is higher than your hit point maximum. You can regian the hit point maximum you lost from this feature if a lesser restoration is casted on you with a 3rd lv or higher spell slot consumed or any similar spell with that consumes a higher spell slot. You also regain the hit point maximum after 1d4 long rest.
