You have learned to invent strange but useful items. You can spend one hour creating an odd but useful item. This time can be spent during a short or long rest. Roll on the table to see what the item looks like and what it does
00-10: A necklace made of chains that is warm to the touch. As an action you can destroy the necklace to free all creatures within 60 feet of you from grapples and the charmed condition. 11-21: A hat that appears to be made of tiny gears. when you touch the hat, it tells you where the nearest creature of a type you chose is. this feature may be used once per day. 22-33: A tiny watch that instead of telling the time shows you a map of the area within 1 mile of you. after you look use watch, it goes dark for 1 hour before you can look at it again 34-45: A book made of steel. When you hold book, it shows one random cantrip (DM's choice.) you can cast it before the page goes blank. the book has 1d6 pages. 46-80: A random trinket with no use. 81-90: A potion of healing that looks like a bottle of distilled water. 91-00: A toy resembling an animal you chose. as an action you can set the toy on the ground. the toy then moves 20 feet towards the nearest creature before exploding dealing 1d4 fire damage.
The things you invent cost 5 gp per object and you must maintain them to keep their properties. Each object has an AC of 8+PB, 1 hit point, and is destroyed if you make more objects of its specific kind.
