Dragons are ancient and otherworldly, but they are capable of dalliances with mere humanoids. Sometimes these couplings result in half-dragon offspring. You are one of those offspring.
Sometimes, your ancestry is immediate and evident, visible from birth, as one of your parents was a dragon of some variety. Or perhaps your half-dragon nature is latent, emerging later in life and the result of a hidden dragon ancestor somewhere on your family tree. Even a Dragonborn may discover that their draconic ancestry comes from more than one bloodline.
Either way, you gain the following benefits:
- You gain a breath weapon in accordance with the source of your half-dragon nature, and a damage resistance that also corresponds with that source.
- You learn Draconic as a language if you don't know it already.
- You gain blindsight within a radius of 10 feet and darkvision to 60 feet.
