Requirements: Favored One of the Fey
The Fey have taken quite a liking to you, and seek to see how far you’re willing to go. Your communion deepens further.
— Increase Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma by 1
—Your understanding of the nature of the Fey allows you to commune and have conversations with the spirits. You can take an action to make a listening check (determined by the DM). If you pass, you can have the Fey in an area tell you something they’ve experienced, up to the DM’s discretion. This can be as useful or mundane or random as the DM decides. You can take this action an amount of times per day equal to your spellcasting ability modifier.
—Some of the fey support your engineering endeavors and Whisper sweet knowledge in your ear. You craft your steel defender with greater skill than before. You can ride your steel defender, even though it is a medium construct. While in this position, you have a speed of 40, as the Defender focuses all operational power on movement. If someone attacks either you or your steel defender in this position, make a dexterity saving throw or both you and the defender take the damage. Your defense reaction from Favored by the Fey can be activated, but it only applies to you and not your Defender.
—(optional?) You can cast Create Food or Water and Summon Fey once per day. It does not count against the number of spells you know.
