Eldritch Shieldbearer

You have been bound with a fearsome tower-shield, cast in darkened metals and imbued with eldritch energies of planes unknown. The shield in your inventory is now bound to your non-dominant hand, disallowing the use of that hand.

As a benefit, you can now no longer lose your shield and it cannot be knocked from your grasp. In addition, the shield allows the casting of Armor of Agathys at will. The spell can be cast an amount of times per day equal to your proficiency modifier and is cast at the highest spell slot available based on spell-caster level (up to 5th level). The shield can also be used as a spellcasting focus.

The shield is cumbersome and heavy,. You have disadvantage on stealth checks and athletics checks requiring the use of both hands. Additionally, you take an extra point of exhaustion should one or more points be applied to your character. Exhaustion applied by the shield in this way does not exceed 5 points.
