The loss of your sight has honed your sense of smell and hearing, granting you the ability to sense any creatures within 5ft of you. You also do not have disadvantage when attacking enemies within 5 ft, and enemies do not have advantage when attacking you. This does not apply to ranged attacks made by or targeted at you.

When you get hit in combat you must roll a Wisdom (Perception) saving throw or lose concentration. If you lose your concentration, every enemy that attacks you for the rest of that round gains advantage & any attack that you make has disadvantage. At the beginning of your next turn you can use a bonus action to restore concentration.

If you are deafened, the feat loses effect until hearing is restored and If you cannot focus or if there are a lot of noises in the room the feat also loses effect. (think trying to follow someone’s footsteps in a busy bazaar).

Stealth rolls made against your active or passive perception have advantage.

Every 3 wisdom levels above 14 increase the sight range by 5ft, up to a total 15ft. The feat also works in the dark.

Using Keen Senses, you can see the basic locations of creatures, but you can’t see any details like their face or look, only a basic shape.

Prerequisites:

  • Wisdom of 14 or higher.
  • Proficiency in Perception.
  • Concentration.
