Improved Find Familiar

 You have studied the ancient ways of binding more powerful beasts into your service with the find familiar spell.

• When you cast find familiar, you can form a magical bond with a beast that is no larger than Medium and that has a challenge rating of 1 or lower. The bond must be made with a beast that is already friendly to you and within 5 feet of you while you cast the spell. You can use this beast as your familiar as if you had summoned them normally using the find familiar, except that its type is still beast instead of celestial, fey, or fiend. The creature is still susceptible to death, as is normal for a natural creature. You can choose to break this bond by casting find familiar again and either bonding with another beast or creating a familiar as normal.
• When you take the Attack action, you can forgo one of your own attacks to allow your familiar to make one attack of its own with its reaction. If a feature you possess already grants you this ability, then your familiar can use the Attack action normally, and can use any Multiattack or Special Attack actions that its form would normally have access to when you sacrifice your own attack.
• Your familiar’s attacks are considered magical for the purposes of defeating damage resistance.
