You can give a hibernating animal a long-lasting spell.
You can perform a ritual that takes six hours that grants a hibernating creature of the Animal Type a spell with a duration longer than instantaneous. The spell takes effect when the animal awakens and lasts for a number of weeks equal to one-half your level. Each week costs of 500gp per spell and per week in special herbs and other materials.
Note: Druids usually use this feat to improve the chances of survival of important animals by casting upon them Barkskin, Magic Fang and/ or Endure Elements.
