Your body has been heavily influenced by the DNA of a Peryton, with it your body has undergone changes to assimilate it into your being. Your body has been altered slightly, you grow horns similar to that of a peryton but smaller, you have a flap of skin that grows between your arms and your side (much like a squirrels), and your feet have sharp talon like toes. Also your shadow always appears humanoid even in your hybrid state.

  • Once per day you can use an Action to transform into a hybrid state, during this hybrid state your arms transform into wings. For 1 hour you gain a flying speed of 40ft and do not provoke opportunity attacks when flying past or away from enemies.  All equipment that was attached to your arms or in your hands meld into these wings and are unusable until this transformation has ended. You may use an action to end this transformation early. You may not use this feature again until you finish a Long Rest.
  • You have advantage on any Wisdom (Perception) that relies on sight or smell.
  • Your new talons on your feet make your kicks much deadlier. While not wearing shoes or coverings on your feet, your Unarmed Strikes from kicks do 2d4 + your Strength or Dexterity modifier (your choice).

Curse of the Peryton

  • You must devour a fresh raw heart of a humanoid once per day or make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw, on a failed save you gain a level of exhaustion each day that you fail this save. This save increases by an extra 3 per day you pass it (day 2 is DC 18 check and day 3 is a DC 21 check and so on).  Once you devour a fresh humanoid heart you lose all levels of exhaustion that you accumulated from this effect.
