Foundry Of Îhrad Image
Prerequisite: Forge Cleric, Follower of Moradin, Proficiency with Smiths Tools, Jewellers Tools

Through blood and faith Moradin has chosen you. You gain access to the following magic item crafting rules.

All Magic Items have two phases of creation; design and fabrication. Both phases are factored into the total work time required, but your DM will let you know how much time is needed for each on an item by item basis. Completion of the design phase will reveal the costs and components required. Magic Items you intend to make are designed in conjunction with your DM, with your DM having the final say on rarity, cost, and any special conditions or components required. If a component has a monetary value, that value is factored into the resource cost. Resources must be acquired for a project to be worked on in the fabrication phase. Magic Items that can cast spells require the casting of that spell at key points throughout the crafting process. This spell can come from other characters, or spell scrolls. Certain types of item require different tool proficiencies to craft, eg. Metal Weapons and Armour require Smith's Tools proficiencies, Rings and Amulets require Jeweller's Tools, Capes and other clothing require Weaver's Tools.

In addition, you gain an additional feature for which to use your Channel Divinity; Foundry of Îhrad. As a ritual; you summon a spectral anvil and forge, as well as any other necessary equipment for the creation of magic items. This summoning requires 400 square foot of space, and produces real heat, and flame. This Foundry remains for as long as you work at it, and cannot be used in conjunction with a rest. The Foundry of Îhrad can be used to make progress on the creation of magic items. If the ritual is interrupted then any progress made during that ritual is lost. You may use the Foundry of Îhrad once per long rest. Longer shifts in the Foundry are difficult due to the stress caused by the spiritual connection required.
