Life from Death

You are a master of drawing life from death. 

• When you cast a spell to heal a creature, you can add and additional dice if there are any dead creatures within 5 feat of you that have been dead no more than 1 hour.
• Once per long rest, when you reduce a creature to 0 hit points with a melee or touch-ranged spell attack, you can attempt to drain the last vestiges of life from the creature and heal yourself. Roll a WIS (DC 15) check. On a successful check, you gain HP equal to half the damage dealt on your last attack and the creature dies.
