Through a tragic accident, nigh fatal blow to the head, dark ritual or otherwise the two hemispheres of your brain have separated, splitting your mind into two minds, when you take this feat your fate is bound, your character does not notice anything different at first but may notice omens of an oncoming life changing threat.
The experience of having a split mind is often a hassle as every patient with this condition is different, discuss with your DM or roll a d6 to give your character a unique quirk of this condition:
1 Your left hemisphere sees out of your left eye and your right hemisphere sees out of your right
2 Your brain still has a few connections, and you may only send basic emotions between the two sides
3 The silent half of your brain has learned how to communicate to the other by tapping a code on your own skin
4 The two halves of your brain often disagree, one acting with logic and the other acting with emotion
5 One half of your brain controls your body and one controls your face and speech, your body language often acts differently than what you say and express in your face
6 You communicate with the other half of your brain by speaking to yourself, you can have an entire conversation with just yourself
Once you gain this feat you may pick any or all of the features and complications to apply to your character
-You may gain two additional skill proficiencies, however one of each and two additional skills are allocated split two and two between your two brains, one side may have to communicate with the other in order to complete a combined job
-The logical side of your brain gains an additional language that only that side can understand, and the emotional side gains proficiency in an artistic artisan's tools that it's compelled to indulge in to express emotions
-You can let the logical side of your brain take over, this can be triggered by specific phrases or events such as nightfall or by using an action, while your logical side is taken over you can add up to your proficiency bonus to any skill checks that require intelligence or wisdom, however your logical side struggles with complex emotions and you have disadvantage on insight skill checks
-You can let your emotional side take over, this can be triggered by specific events or phrases such as dawn or by using an action, if you take the previous feature as well you should make this trigger the antithesis to your previous trigger, while your emotional side is in control you can add up to your proficiency bonus to any skill checks that require charisma and have advantage on skill check made to read emotions you currently feel, whether your own or telepathically conveyed, however you may act strongly with emotions and have disadvantage against being intimidated
- If you fail a saving through against being charmed or frightened by 2 or 1 only one half of your brain is affected by the condition, and your other half can use it's reaction to give yourself disadvantage upon attempting an action you do not wish to do, or to half your movement when attempting to move, if you fail an action this way you fall prone
