As a Protector Aasimar, you serve your community and group by any means necessary. Few Aasimar gain permanent wings, but even fewer gain the wing of the protector. These are granted by Deva who see a sheer determination in their acolytes to protect at all costs, even to themselves. You gain the following benefits:

• You gain a flight speed equal to your walk speed for up to 4 hours per day. You regain this after a long rest.
• As a reaction, you may interject these hardened wings in front of an ally or friendly target to reduce the damage they take by half, but in doing so you receive the other half.
• As these wings have been reinforced, the feathers upon them can be used as blades, dealing 1d8 of slashing damage, though instead of strength you may add your dexterity.
• As a reaction, you may also shield yourself, gaining 3 AC on use. Once used, this cannot be used again until you've taken a long rest.
