Your aim is unmatched, you are capable of impressive displays of skill with trick and skill shots.
- Attacking at long range doesn't impose disadvantage on your ranged weapon attack rolls.
- All your ranged weapon attacks can ignore half cover.
- Your ranged weapon attacks can ignore three-quarters cover when within normal range.
- Before you attack a target within normal range, that you can see, with a Thrown weapon that you are proficient with, you can choose to take a -3 penalty to the attack roll. If the attack hits, you add 1d10 to the attack's damage
Author notes: 1 This feat was designed around me wanting to have an effective thrown weapon wielding character. 2 I scaled down the effects of the sharpshooter feat to what i have here. I find the sharpshooter feat do be too unrealistic when it comes to avoiding cover when shooting at maximum range, i made it so that three-quarters cover is only possible when within normal range. 3 I changed the last section to apply only to thrown weapons earlier it only applied to ranged weapons, this allows for the skill to be effectively used with melee attacks as well. 4 I made it a requirement that you need to to be able to see your target in order to perform the attack, as i understand the skill to be that you spot weaknesses on the monsters and try to aim at those, it does't make sense if you can make the shot without seeing what you're shooting at. 5 Lastly i changed the flat +10 damage to be a +D10 and made the minus to hit to be -3. a reason for this is that i find it to be more balanced. a thing to remember is that the bonus damage shoot has no limitations to have often it can be used in a turn, a flat +10 can easily be overpowered when character rack up multiple +10 in a turn against monsters with low AC.
