 You gain a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with a ranged weapon while attacking a target outside of the weapon's normal range.

 You do not suffer penalties on attacking with a ranged weapon outside of the weapons normal range as long as there are no creatures that are hostile to you that you can see within the weapons normal range.
